The Story So Far
Cusick Media officially launched in July 2021, but its origins trace back to the summer of 2016, when founder Tristan Cusick first picked up a camera. Just three months later, he found himself on tour with a rising country artist fresh off their first #1 hit on country radio. Over the next four years, Tristan traveled the country, capturing moments for some of country music’s biggest names.
Then, in 2020, the world hit pause. COVID-19 forced an unexpected but welcomed transition—shifting Tristan’s focus from life on the road to the heart of Nashville’s production industry.
As the music industry found its footing again, Tristan found himself on set with an artist, casually pitching a bold idea for their next music video. To his surprise, they said, “Let’s do it.” That moment sparked a new chapter—one that led Tristan to direct his first music video, shot across the country. From there, Cusick Media quickly evolved, assembling a team of talented creatives dedicated to producing high-quality visual storytelling for artists and labels alike.
By late 2023, Cusick Media embraced a new direction, expanding beyond the music industry into the world of brand storytelling. Today, we work with a diverse range of clients, from performance apparel brands and spirits/beverage companies to nonprofits and corporations. While our core focus has shifted to brand and commercial content, we continue to collaborate with select artists and labels, staying true to our roots in the music industry.
Now, in this new era, Cusick Media specializes in Brand Content, Brand Partnership Photo & Video, Event Storytelling, and Corporate Production. Our philosophy is simple: bring excellence, creativity, and collaboration to every project. We walk alongside our clients, ensuring that each piece of content not only meets their vision but exceeds expectations—while making the process as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
